This guy says he is Northern VA...I'm in Northern VA...If someone wants to front me the funds, I can go pick these up for them and hold them.

I have no interest. Don't need the coupe handle thing in a sedan.

yes, you do. :) you need them side-hugging adjustable bolsters! and the flip-forward feature on the passenger side is super handy when you need to bring home 4 bookcases home from ikea... with the trunk closed!

seriously, you're missing out.

when you actually experience these adjustable-bolster seats in your car, you'd forget all about the handles. trust me.

you guys are weird.

I disagree.
I also don't find M3 seats to be night and day difference, handle or no handle. They're comfy, but I'm also comfortable in my standard sport seat so that's not saying much.

I will agree that the price is on point though, and are in great condition for someone who does want them.

My local cinnamon part out didn't work out, so I'm pretty interested in these. Just gotta think through the logistics.

Ya I agree cinnamon would look awesome. But I think even if you buy these at listed price, you wouldn't lose too much money if not any if/when you find a cinnamon interior and sell these...

I do like the Napa leather but that is about it. And the weight of them being 60-70 pounds per seat, i'll pass.

Not the biggest fan of tanin, but that M3 looks spot-on. Estoril combo looks good too.

Aren't M3 seats <5 lbs heavier than similarly equipped non-M sport seats (power, lumbar, heated)? They didn't feel much heavier when I swapped out my front seats. And that extra 5 lbs is about the difference of how much I've eaten that day

The various reds are nice to look at, but I'm not sure I could live with it.

If I keep my current seats I could see myself going with the Lseat covers that look (to me) like they're very close to the E9x gen's "saddle brown." Blasphemy I know, but Natty Brown is a little too light for me. I really want that dark baseball glove hue [emoji15]

I'm more of a fan of the red used in the E90s, especially with alpine white.

I'm about to sign up for M3f to PM this guy. How much do you think my 7/10 condition heated/memory/lumbar sport seats would go for? Hopefully enough to help offset the cost a bit (January wasn't cheap for me).

It really depends. But somewhere around $500 would be my guess. My whole M3 interior cost me around $1k.

Seller sent me these, and said "the seatbelt tensioner cabling and occupancy sensor isn't included."
I don't know if those can be transferred from my existing seats or not. Given that, and the photos, do we still think this is a great deal?

Mhmm. Drove on them for the first time this morning going to work. I need to play around with positioning but those adjustable bolsters are awesome. The ///M headrest is a nice, subtle touch, too.

awesome, spenser! they definitely take a few drives to get setup correctly - in fact i use two memory buttons for different positions - 'fun mode' and 'cruise mode' (the third memory position is for my wife :)).

Damn, Peter. You just blew my mind with the memory button thing. I was tearing through the mountains in the red car yesterday and kept inching the seat closer to the wheel for visibility/leverage. By the time we got to the destination, I was too far forward to get out of the car. Then I spent the first hour of the return drive trying to get back to cruise position. Memory buttons...
