My Friend's Tiag hit a pothole here in LA and the Front Driver side door panel airbag deployed. Anybody local please lmk.. I'll have him call you.

also the A Pillar deployed, he said the pothole wasn't that deep either. And his car is not lowered or anything. Wild.

That is crazy. I wonder if something is wrong, like an electronic issue.

nope car is sorted, he's our shop manager so he knows bimmers pretty well.

I have spare of all 4 door panels and airbag. The driver door airbag cover is a little loose, can send pics. PM me

I have read a few of these threads. For some reasons its almost common on E46s. The threads Ive read on E46 fanatics, they have taken the car to the BMW dealer and the dealer has repaired them for free. Not sure why....some kind of safety issue?
