I may jump on the stage 3. What are the claimed gains?

My car is at the shop now getting stage 1. Should be 4-5hp but most importantly the flash should help/solve the 4k dip im feeling.

Really not sure if my car is dinan tuned or not, it has some dinan modifications and the previous owners maintenance ledger mentioned Dinan reprogramming, but the sticker under the hood for the high flow throttle body says it's the stock tune. Anyways I don't really notice a 4k rpm dip but maybe you guys are more sensitive than I am to it.

The only reason i am sensitive to it is because i have a non-zhp 330ci as a daily and it is way more smooth and "healthy" revving than my ZHP.
Now would be the time to look in to that tuning - this is a pretty good deal and if you have other appropriate dinan parts you should see higher gains.
My local shop charges a flat rate of $50 to flash. Total is $170. Just to update the software and help with the 4k dip was $150.

Geez, the throttle body is $900 plus the discounted $200 tune for a stage 3. Not sure the 5hp increase is worth that much.

exactly, don't be fooled by low tune prices if the supporting mods are still $$$$$$
EC tune saw 7-10 hp gain with just an intake, and it includes the trans software already.

even still, good price for stage 2. Still need exhaust though I assume?
I emailed them a while ago asking how their tunes perform with non-Dinan equivalents. They said as long as they provide similar performance benefits, you'll be getting the benefit of the tune. Their tunes are made specifically with their stuff, so it's going to give the best results with their stuff, but I'd say if you have similar items then it's probably good. I don't know what they change in terms of throttle response and stuff....That would be interesting to know.
I'm going to get myself a tune next month I think. 401 ft-lbs :drool

I just ordered the intake from ECStuning for $228 and scheduled to the get the stage 2 tune from a local shop. The flash will cost $50 in addition to the tune so I hope I can feel that 11 hp difference.
