It's my pleasure to finally introduce myself. bmwMD...my name is Daniel. I've always been a car guy. My admiration for the Brand goes back as far as I can remember. Early on in 2016 was when I got it in my mind that it was time to search for my first BMW. I've been looking at Bimmers forever and of course I have my favorites, many of which are unfortunately not in the current budget. That's when I came across the ZHP.

The e46 is such a classic looking and balanced automobile that had most every attribute I would care for in my next car. I ended up joining this Forum in February with the help of a member I'm sure some of you are familiar with Charlie aka cakM3. (He works with my father) Thanks for all of your assistance and advice Charlie.

So...my search began. It took about 7 months to find a semi local ZHP packaged the way i wanted. I purchased the car from another forum member from New Jersey in August of 2016 and took the car back home to SE CT.

It was a little rough around the edges when I purchased it. Desperately needed a spruce up, Full Detail interior and exterior. After my initial clean up I took my new love to a HS buddy of mine who owns a reputable shop very close by that specializes in BMW called INLINE AUTOWERKS. He's a great guy with a WEALTH of knowledge having owned BMW's since he was in high school and now races competitively with his e36 M3 with a Euro Motor Swap. I can still remember the Red e36 M3 he rocked in our High School days. Pretty cool story, that same red M3 is now owned by TURNER MOTORSPORT, check out their project cars and you'll find it!

Long story short and without getting into details I spent a few grand reverting back to BMW OEM parts everywhere and changed all the fluids to get the car to perfect mechanical condition. They did a great job and fully explained everything as I'm obviously new to the german auto scene.

My Plan for the car is to build it as an OEM PLUS+ 330i ZHP!

Subtle Mods done by myself so far include:
Clear RCR Euro Tails
Clear Side Markers
Clear Front Corner Lights
Morimoto Mini H7 Retrofit
Removed the Yellow Fog light covers
All New Slotted Rotors and Pads (StopTech)

I was looking for either the Natty Brown or Beige. In my opinion looks classy along the AW. and Thanks maintenance before mods!
