A friend of mine who owns a used BMW dealer recently cleaned out their showroom and happened upon an original brochure from 2003 that the dealers had for the new ZHP Package 330i. This is the definitive guide, official from BMW, that describes everything about this car that makes it special.

I hope all fellow ZHP Mafia members have as much fun looking through this as much as I have. Enjoy everyone!

yea I bought a 2003 Individual brochure just to see options
Is interesting to see all of the color combinations and the 14 year old sales pitch for the upgrade etc.

Look on your browser (probably "File" menu) for a "Save Page As..." option that dumps the whole page, with image files, into a folder for you to do with as you wish.

Yes sir!!
My brother got an E36 M3 from there; about 6 months later I bought my ZHP. I paid waaaay too much for it (I have excuses I won't enumerate here LOL), but the experience with Concord was totally positive: a solid shop all around IMHO.

Where is the document itself? I'd like to own it and rescan it edge-edge for us all.

There's a lot of those PDFs somewhere here. I sent them to Marcus and he put them in a post back in the beginning days of ZHPMafia dot com.

Hasn't the unique springs and shocks idea been debunked?

Well, the brochure also said there will only be 4000 or so made (1000 with 6MT and 3000 with 5AT)... That clearly isn't true either, so not all the things they said went quite according to plan.

4,000 a year is more like it. You can always trust marketers & sales people lololol

I bet they were not anticipating sales to be as large as they were and tBMW was like well shiz we can make some money here!

Imagine the value of a ZHP if there was only 4,000 of them

I can't imagine it would be that much more. Unfortunately it's not it's own model like the 328is or 335is are :(

The Americanized E28 M5 was specified as a one-year-only model (1988) with production limited to just 500 examples. Orders came in quickly, and cars were built - more than 1200 in total, landing BMW in court defending a class-action suit. The company settled up with owners to the tune of $4000 per car to offset the lost value of their future collectibles.

I see there are many mentions in the brochure about better throttle response. Is this really objectively true?

Since e46s have a "learning" system that remaps the throttle response, can't say it works. Plus people need to install sprint boosters, so even if it is better, it's got a ways to go.
