I did some searching and found CkDedmon's post from a few years ago about purchasing elements from eBay and the BMW retrofit harness kit. After scouring the eBay on several occasions I've yet to come across the heating elements that are referenced in his post. Not sure if the seller has stopped his auction, maybe they're no longer available, who knows...

My question is, my sedan is equipped with cloth/alcantara seats and no cold weather, has anyone or does anyone know of a heating element/kit available that can be installed and wired into an SZM with heated seat buttons. I've already swapped out my SZM with one from a donor heated seat car, all I lack is either spending the $2,000 on new seat covers (not happening) or finding suitable heating elements that I can wire into the factory switches.
