Is this a custom mod or something you can buy? and do you guys like the look of it? do you consider it unique and cool? or something that looks like its trying to hard?

It's custom. You can pay someone to do it for you. It's actually referred to as quad xenons. IMO, it's just for show. You don't really use it much unless you live in an area with like backroads and like a ton of land where there are no cars on the road most of the time. It looks alright, I've made a few at one time or another for customers (mostly show cars). They tend to choose like weird colors to go with their schemes, it it's quite tacky IMO. But with the right colors, it looks pretty good.

Not worth the effort, especially since you live in the city. Headlights aren't even needed there most of the time because it's so well lit. lol

LOL. then there's me, i live in the sticks. it is DARK (but that makes for amazing star gazing). the TRS EvoX-R's i've got are pretty awesome. and, i would assume i am at the extreme end of the spectrum considering light output requirement - and EvoX-R's are good enough for me.

i just ordered a set of morimoto mini H1's for my montero last night from TRS (they've having a big sale - 20% off!). excited to get those in, the light output in the montero is pretty crappy.

Maybe it's just me, but those particular shrouds look awful.

A guy on the boards with the username OSS used to do a lot of custom work to the e46's and I he still does it custom work to newer cars. He is probably your best bet for OEM quality work. I would just send him a message.

This is his car

Just code your inner halogens to turn on with bi-xenons. I use:

My high xenons will cover a fair distance but the inner 2500K halogens will penetrate even further. When I'm in the sticks the reflective street signs become too bright, especially the signs that are 30ft high.

Ummmm I bet if you ask Alexandre he'll come do it for you on the way to Vancouver at the end of the month. He's moving to my hood!

Could've just had it done when I did coding for you and refused that option! :rofl
