I remember a similar car, I think I posted it to the zhp fb group and everyone freaked out. BP, I remember, said that Tanin Red was the Natural Brown of the pre-LCI E46s and was without a doubt swapped into this one.

I have the VIN, trading emails with the owner. The original interior (based on VIN) is shown as Standardleder/naturbraun - N6NG. Owner says it came from the factory with red seats, figure that he is mistaken. He is not the original owner of the car.

Unless it was Individual, it did not come with Tanin Red seats from the factory. It was not a standard interior offering for the facelift cars. I don't think we had the option of Individual interiors at the time, but I could be mistaken.

That is a sweet color combo though.

you can tell it was swapped because the rear seats is missing the 3rd center headrest which is PRE LCI. nothing wrong that that, mine is swapped and if i go to sell it and someone wants to be petty and say they dont want the car because it didn't originally come with it and they wanted a car that had the same interior but WAS factory installed.. then i wouldn't want them as a buyer anyways.

Tanin Red I believe was a pre-LCI only color. It was the NB of the pre-LCI time.
