I was looking into what my state's tint law is and found this chart that lists all the states. Thought I would post it if any members have any questions regarding the tint law in their state.

I know in Maine, the laws for tint have just been changed. Last year I believe. All the cops now have 5% tint. State trooper 5.0 Mustangs are black, on 18's with tint. They surprise you when the blues come on!

Yes it does. Just like here in NH.

Here's another good site, a little easier to follow and includes more detailed info. Plus it differs from the other one on front sides here. 50% is allowed but the site Mikey linked says none is allowed. Good idea to check both maybe before doing any tinting.

My gripe is every car that I've had with the rear window tinted it has always been blurry. Was that just a bad tint job?

My tinted rear window is totally clear. No blur at all.
