Hi all. I haven't posted in a while. I am having a strange vibration in my steering wheel when I brake, usually under light to medium braking. Could this be the FCAB? I never replaced mine when I put my cup kit on. Or could this be something else? There are numerous possibilities this could be so a little insight could go along way.

Thanks for the replies

When braking only? Sounds more like warped rotors.

fCAB going bad is more imprecision and clunkyness in my experience.

I had that issue before I replaced my FCAB and control arms that had bad ball joints. Haven't had the issue since.

your symptoms definitely sound like bad FCABs. i'd start there. mine did that on my first ZHP.

Have a friend watch your front wheels while you drive slowly. Jam on the front brakes. If he sees the whole wheel assembly move towards the back of the car you FCAB are shot

It will also effect inflict wheel shimmy when breaking and accelerating at high speeds.

It definitely sounds like CA's. But don't be quick to rule out rotors either...

I had the same symptoms and a set of Z4M fcabs cured the wheel shimmy for me.
