heaaders and high flow cats: anybody heard of this company?

So I was researching high flow cats and came across this company in Denmark... looks intriguing but I've never heard of them... Prices are reasonable even after adding shipping to the states....

Schmiedmann has been around for a long time, very reputable over the years. Seen many discussions on them across the various BMW forums over the years, some great, some not so great, like most companies on the web...........

those look well-made, and the price is great... however, what about the cats being so far down the system? seems like a CEL would be prevalent, not to mention air/fuel mixture issues because of it.

no, probably not... would just be nice to see them IN the headers. :)

That's what I'm thinking... with shipping it's $755... My major hurdle with getting headers is noise. My Corsa cat back system is going to be loud as hell. Cats should quiet it down some and take the place of section 1

I found this thread on e46f. Looks like they've been around for a while... as usual you have to read through all the BS still don't see anyone that has fitted these.

Don't know how to make it quiet without restricting it...:(

I really, really hate that the DME is so finicky about the position of catalytic converters in the exhaust system. :(
