ClearPlex Windshield Protection Film

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with ClearPlex windshield protection film? The current issue of European Car has a write up in the New Gear section. I thought it sounds pretty neat. I would benefit from this product because I usually replace a windshield annually.

I feel like you are going to have to apply it to a brand new windshield in order to have it create a perfect seal.

Throughout driving, whether you know it or not, rocks will nick the windshield and from there the "clear bra" product won't seal perfectly, and you will get little bubbles in the film.

Ooh, I may have to look into this as I just got my windshield replaced . . . I've been wondering if there's anything I should do to a brand-new windshield before it gets too used.
