I know that 255/35 is stock fitment for the ZHP, but does anyone know if 235/40-18 would rub anywhere (at stock height) with a 18x8.5 +35 square setup?
Thanks!

it shouldn't. depends on the tire though (some are 'squarer' in profile than others), and your alignment.
235/40/18 is 25.4" in diameter, whereas 255/35/18 is 25" in diameter. so it will raise the car by 0.2" and reduce fender-to-wheel gap by 0.2" - it will also make your speedometer more accurate (it's calibrated high with stock tire sizes), and will potentially make acceleration a bit slower. but i doubt you'd notice that last part, especially if you were going to light tires (like 22lbs each).
i'm likely using this size with my new 18x8.5" ARC-8s.
235/40/18 is a great fit on a 18x8.5 wheel.

You're very low, so I can definitely see why you like the 35 tire! Lol

LOL, yes, but it is an very common size for ZHP's who go square.

Having a 35 profile tire SUCKS when you're low... well, only if you live in an area with trash for roads like me. lol
Switching from my 45 profile winter tires to 35 profile summer tires was like switching from tires to wood blocks for wheels. :(

Personally.... I don't mind going to 35/30 profile tires. I just go slow over bumpy roads and we all know my rides are lowered ;)

There's only so much you can do when the highways have really pointy "speedbumps" on the road surface. You can't slow down to 30 to go over them, so bent wheels are almost inevitable...

Wow, you must have really rough roads. I've never had an issue (except for speed bumps and driveways, where I have to craaaaawwwwwlllll over). And, my car currently is not quite as low as it is in my sig pic.
