I Ordered the differential service kit and I think this oil is not what it should be. Am I wrong??

I've never seen it in that packaging but it doesn't matter, that is the correct product. Redline 75W90 is what I use for my diff. And it says "for Limited Slip Differentials" but you can ignore that, that just means it has friction modifiers in it to increase friction between plates for LSDs but its totally fine to use with our open diffs (as far as I know).

BTW my local shop carries this for about $16/ea if I remember correctly. $50 looks a tad overpriced for that kit IMO.

It says for hypoid lsd... that right there confused me. I'm thinking its not the right stuff. I have the stock differential

Ah I assumed those were just the o-rings. Anyway like I said the "for LSD" part is fine it just means it has friction modifiers which won't affect our open diffs. If you want to confirm it you can google that :)

MFactory had me use 75w90NS for their LSD.
Got it from CarQuest on special request for about $14.

MTL and MT-90 are gearbox oils, they're not EP rated for use in a diff.
