Okay, just swapped out my foglights on my ZHP. Both were working, however the passenger side was cracked. As I had a fluted lens set and purchase a used clear lens set I had to swap both sides. As I uninstalled the original one on the driver's side I found some splicing done on the wiring at that foglight.

The spliced in wire goes on down to a white socket at the bottom of the bumper. Since everything I knew was working I cleaned up the tape job and the exposed wire ends with some fresh 3M electrical tape, but I'm curious what is going on here. Additionally the screw holding on the foglight was not a factory screw. Replaced it with an appropriate screw with a washer. My guess is that the bumper may have gotten hit before and swapped out, which may also explain why I don't have a good fit on one of the reflectors. Any ideas from the collective on the wiring hack I found??
