I am lucky that I even have mine. But luckily I knew a frend locally who had one and sold his ZHP. His loss is my gain lol I debated on selling it last month, but then I remembered how intoxicating the sound is. Keep a lookout on e46fanatics. I see one up for sale every once and a while. I don't care if I lost 20 horsepower by putting it on (if that was true), I'd STILL keep the intake purely for the sound. Don't give up looking for one!

They do look good. I'd love to hear the difference in person. The BMW Performance intake doesn't change the sound all that much, maybe a little throatier?

I've been telling ya this John...

I had two of these a few years ago...a carbon fiber one and a Kevlar one. I got the Kevlar one from Derek when he sold his. I kept the carbon fiber one and gave my Kevlar one to a good friend of mine :)

Order from them directly. Just measure the length and outer diameter of the current one

It's probably a straight 2.5" id coupler.

I'll just state this flat out, though: There are no thousand-dollar CF intakes in my future. I'll save that money for the next car or something.

Just be glad we don't drive Astons. When I was googling around looking at pricing and suppliers, I found a one site selling Gruppe M intake kits for lots of different performance cars. There were some predictable pricey kits for the usual suspects like the 911 at a couple grand, but nothing prepared me for the intake kit for an Aston Martin Vantage for SIX THOUSAND DOLLARS. The lack of economy of scale rears its ugly head!
