I had hit a pothole pretty bad that it dented my left front wheel, so I decided it was time to get some new shoes. Picked these up off of E-Bay for under $600 shipped, Happy with how they turned out, much lighter than stock rims. Probably going to get the originals repaired and use them as snow tires, not sure. OEM centercaps did not fit so I am waiting on new centercap stickers and the little M stickers to finish it off. Went with gunmetal coloring as it hides brake dust. BTW that is at my mechanic and he just pulled it around, that is not how I park. Decided to try the 225/40R18 F 255/35R18R Sumitomo HTR A/S P02 (W-Speed Rated) based on price and reviews. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tests/testDisplay.jsp?ttid=204
Still too new to tell as I only drove it home yesterday but they are quiet comfortable.

Look at the boxes in the Ebay listing - giant "MADE IN CHINA" on the labels.

Ah yes Made in China = Bad quality, too bad it is where your wheels were made too. http://www.xoutpost.com/bmw-sav-forums/x5-e70-forum/77566-bmw-original-equipment-wheels-made-china.html

Do you have a ZHP and e39 M5? Nice choice :)

Side note, the 135 front wheel is just a little too wide for the spare tire tub but I will keep it as a full sized spare rather than have a perfectly flush floor cover. on the closest edge to the trunk opening on both sides the floor is sitting up about 1" I imagine if you had a standard 330ci front wheel with 205 tires on a narrower 17" rim instead of 225 on the 18" 135 rims, it would probably fit perfectly.

I would like a full size spare but haven't found a good fit yet.

"ZHP is a garbage option anyway- just some cosmetic upgrades with a different cam and diff to claw back some of the performance lost fitting those hideous and heavy wheels. Any 330 with a 3.46 diff will smoke a ZHP every time. The whole Mafia thing reeks of childish behavior." - anonymous

Which wheel is in there, the 18x8 or the 18x8.5?
EDIT: saw you said front 18" which is 18x8. My old 2003 330Ci had a full spare front wheel style 68, 17x7.5".

so the 18x9's fit the back w/o a problem? I may need a new set of wheels, and I see all sorts of 18x8 with 18x9's, but I wasn't sure those would fit. Those look good - I was thinking of something very similar, if I have to replace mine.
