I have been in talks with a very nice rep over at Khoalty about a group buy scenario for headlight lenses on the E46 platform. They have agreed to participate with us enthusiasts.

Their lens replacements fit the following:

1999-2005 BMW E46 3 Series Sedan 323i, 325i, 325xi, 328i, 330i, 330xi
2000-2006 BMW E46 3 Series Coupe 323Ci, 325Ci, 328Ci & 330Ci



The catch to the group buy is the following: they will give a 20% discount (shipping included in total, $64.00 vs. $80.00 usually) if 40 (FORTY) people can sign up and prepay. I will be taking the money (sent to my paypal) and will forward to them along with a document including everyones order/address it needs to be shipped to.

I DO NOT NEED MONEY AT THIS TIME. I simply need strong commitments to this group buy. It is being posted in conjunction with the ZHPMafia.com as members over there have expressed interest as well. If you want to participate simply post up stating you would like a pair and what application you need (coupe/sedan/etc., your options are located in the drop down box on their website link located above).

Khoalty stated that the OEM lens seals they have they cannot discount due to being an OEM BMW part.

Khoalty stated that the OEM lens seals they have they cannot discount due to being an OEM BMW part.


Also, they DO NOT carry face lift coupe lenses.

Can you teach a n00b on the purpose of the seals? couldn't we just use the current ones or is it needed when changing the lenses?

After 10 years of use, the rubber could tend to brittle. I replaced my seals together with the lenses. I hear some people reuse them, but if you are already there maybe it's a good idea to replace seals as well.

Mine is 10%. But the parts markup is insane. I needed a new rear license plate mount. This is about $20 online. The screws siezed and I had to twist the inserts out of the holder to remove the plate. Dealer price? $56 plus tax. Uh, no thanks.

I won't use my local dealer for any parts unless it's an emergency.
