For anyone with money to burn, there's a local guy that is selling a 2006 M3, 6spd, same Mystic Blue over Dove Grey... Car is perhaps the cleanest E46 M3 I've ever seen, and only has 60K miles on it... Guy is asking $23k for it...

Wow. Would love to see pics and details. Is there an ad to view?

It's so bizarre to see your car for sale, but it's not your car! :)

Not terrible - book on that is about $22k retail or less - depending on options and all of that.

I found out some details on this car. Owner recently did the following:
- FCABs
- New fog light bezels
- New headlight lenses with gaskets (projects are not burnt)
- Valve cover gasket
- Coil packs and plugs
- DISA valve
- Vacuum hoses
- Oil + filter + fuel filter
- Headliner professionally re-done, using e90 texture
- C/B pillars re-done, A pillars replaced with new OEM
- Rear view mirror replaced due to broken ball bearing spring
- Professional PDR
No heated seats. No moonroof. Is there some advantage of slick top that some prefer?

It gives more headroom, one less thing to go wrong, less weight on the roof.
Saw this car on the Facebook zhpmafia page. Nice looking car.

I've been driving my ZHP as daily the past two weeks. Prefer it over my f30 in so many ways. Handling, road feel, simplicity, solidness, 6 speed manual. The f30 has all the new tech and interior is fresh, but feels so disconnected from the road. I was considering the Imola auto sedan from Iowa as potential replacement DD for f30, but now have stumbled on this one for $9k (vs 13k for Imola, w/51k miles). I think I'd miss sunroof and heated seats. Perhaps I should sell f30 and drive my ZHP coupe as daily. I have snow tires and wheels (presently on f30). But auto trans is nice for driving through DC traffic. I've always found trying to have one car as DD and weekend car is too much of a compromise and you end up with disappointment. Best if possible is to have two. It would sure be nice to save $$$ by selling the more expensive f30 and getting less expensive daily.
Sorry for the repeated ramble on this subject. I'm obviously conflicted and addicted!
Heated seats can be added. Extra work but it can be done.

$9,000 is a good deal, then. Perhaps just a coolant system refresh will be needed.
