i have a Dell Inspiron B130 laptop for sale.

this belonged to my mother, it was barely used. it's an older laptop, but it's pretty solid. it runs XP Home and has 1.25GB RAM and a 1.4GHz processor. 40GB drive. it has a 15" screen, DVD drive, 3 USB ports, wireless NIC and ethernet port. maybe 50hrs use on it total. i ran the battery down to test it and it lasted almost 3hrs. i bought her a newer laptop to replace this (she took it to meetings sporadically) and her home desktop (dying POS).

it's excellent for PASoft, INPA, NCSExpert, WinKFP, whatever you want to load on it. $90USD + shipping.

thanks!

peter

For those who want to run ISTA (not to be confused with INPA), this will run all of the legacy software that was mentioned in the original post, but it will not run ISTA due to the small hard drive. Just FYI.

Can ISTA be used exclusively for all coding/diagnosis purposes? Or does one need to use a combo of ISTA/PA Soft/NCS Expert?

Good luck with the sale, Peter!

Depends... it's a lot quicker to do coding with NCS than ISTA/P, for example, but having ISTA/D for diagnostics and test plans is extremely valuable.

You gonna have to teach us these tools when you visit Canada next. We will pay you in good Canadian beers.
