Happy to be a new member of the ZHPMafia. I'm a previous ZHP owner: an 06 Alpine White coupe. I had it several years ago and am looking for another ZHP now. Would prefer a sedan to a coupe but no 'vert. Must be a manual trans and would really like the cold weather package. As for color, I'd likely be ok with anything but black with white as the preferred color. Mileage in the 50-60K range is preferred. Any help from members would be much appreciated. Thanks Paul

Fredo, I sure hope you are correct. Been a little challenging trying to locate something decent locally. It will simply take time and patience. Patience is the hard part.

GLWSearch.
The DMV is a big market...something will come up, but make sure to read the guides on here. "How to Find and Buy" etc. Good info.

To find a the right car you may need to travel. It is an inconvenience but well worth it when you find the right car. Especially when looking for a rare-ish car like a ZHP.
I'm driving 6.5 hours to get mine. One day of inconvenience for years of enjoyment.

I would say that first trip was the best experience I've had with mine. 16 hours round trip, mountain roads on the way back, learning the car, new and innocent to the ZHP, etc. Definitely not an inconvenience.

That is because you drove through TN and VA enjoying the trip.
I had to go through hell (NJ,PA) before the trip got good for me. On top of it hurricane sandy just happened.

I was lucky to find a ZHP locally. Even a trip to Houston (2.5 hours far) was a little difficult for me.

I took Amtrak to New England for two of mine. The other was found on CL locally (not listed as a zhp).

Update to all. Just took ownership of an 04 ZHP sedan so I'm once again a legit member of the ZHPMafia. It's silver gray, black leather, MT that's well optioned with 59K miles. Bought it from the second owner who had it since 2005. Very original car that was well taken care of. Sourced it on AutoTrader located in Williamsburg, VA.

...so I'm once again a legit member of the ZHPMafia.
Best part about this forum is that you don't have to own a ZHP to be a "legit" member here Paul. :thumbsup Congrats on your recent pick up though :)

^ Exactly. I joined this forum 3 years ago and bought my ZHP one year ago. I've been a happy camper all this time.

FWIW, I was a "legit" member of this forum for 14 months prior to owning a ZHP.
Congrats and welcome back!

Good evening all. Been a while since I've been on the forum. Hers an update on my 04 ZHP sedan. Since I bought it in early February I have done the following: new set of Michelin Pilot Sport A/S3s (so much better than the run flats that were on the car), OEM AUX input, BMW Performance front strut bar, OEM BMW aluminum pedals and ///M dead pedal plus various other odds and ends (new carpeted and all weather BMW mats, trunk mat). Couple of items remain: replacing both headlight lenses and disc brake pads all around to reduce unwanted dust. Did a decent detail when the weather broke in the northeast a week or two ago. Picture attached.

Lieu piƱa, as requested below is a POC of the BMW Performance Strut Bar. It's not the carbon finer bar; those were crazy expensive. It seems that BMW simply wants to deplete the stock of their Performance line. Got this one new from my local BMW parts dept for about $200. In my opinion BMW never did market the BMW Performance line all that well.
