Ouch! My ZHP was hit the other day. Person went through a stop sign. Rear left bumper was hit and wheel bent it. It's at the shop now. Free pine tree air freshener for whoever guesses the repair cost!

if the impact was hard enough to bend the wheel, i am curious to see that lower control arm as well... did they hit you from the side?

Ouch, that's a bummer! I'm betting $2,500 for paint, wheel, and probably some damage to that part of the rear axle.

As mine was hit about a month ago, I feel your pain.

If any damage was done to the rear end suspension parts or axle, I'm going to guess that you're sitting at about $3225.00. Hope your repair goes well!

I was hit while making a left turn at a "T" intersection. The other car hit me at about 10-15 miles per hour and pushed us across the intersection. At first I thought it was just the bumper but looking from the rear, the left tire was bent it. Grand total of $4,882.57!! Big items were bumper cover, upper and lower arms, koni yellow shock, and rear suspension knuckle. Parts = $2,706, Paint = $871, Labor = $1,305. I bought the car about 3 years ago for $15k with 60k miles (now 71k) and put about $3.5k into it. With the repairs I think it's going to be worth a lot more to me than what I could get for it so it's a keeper!

yikes. any damage to the subframe where those upper and lower control arms mount? the lower control arm should have defected first, it's pretty flimsy.

and... i assume their insurance is covering it?

Winner winner chicken dinner. In keeping with TPiR rules, you can't bid over the actual cost and the other close bid was after the actual price was posted ;-)

OP I feel your pain and please, keep the air freshener. Think of it as a celebratory win when you get your fresh car back.
