View Full Version : 06 Graphite Coupe Warwick RI
Guys, I spotted this the other day. Balise Nissan in Warwick. Vin is WBABD534X6PE10149. $14,000, 55,000 miles. Not many pics yet. They have it in service for a PS leak, new pads and rotors and tires. While the color is not my top pick, the miles, condition and price are quite attractive. My thought is at that miles, there really should not be that much that needs immediate work. Any comments appreciated. I would need to fly out and drive back. Never done this before. I have done 2 previous "sight unseen" on 635's and a bit leery. This, obviously, is much newer.
thanks Ed

How ironic. I used to have an 05 in that same color & body style. Haven't logged onto these forums in about two years since I sold for a brz. This is the first thread I see. I live in Warwick.
LOL
Too bad it's an auto. Bummer.

It is a coupe that is a Manual 6mt with Low Miles and price is not bad. Get a PPI done and negotiate from there.
However if the miles are low, that does not mean everything else does not need attention. Plastic parts get old with years so it might not need anything right away but it would be good preventative maintenance for worry free miles/smiles to tackle the cooling system.

+1
Other people are probably sick of me saying it, but when I purchased my 2005 330Ci w/ 49k miles in March, I decided to pretty much repair everything that I would have done if the car had 75 or 100k miles (replace all fluids, belts, pulleys, refresh cooling system, spark plugs, filters (oil, fuel, air, cabin), refreshed the suspension, etc). I put in about $2.5k worth of parts, expect another $1-2k if you have a shop do all the work rather than do it yourself.
The FS thread I posted: http://www.zhpmafia.com/forums/showthread.php?17133-2006-BMW-330Ci-ZHP-AT-w-55k-miles-(Warwick-RI)-13-995&highlight=warwick
It's funny, the dealer jacked up the price another $1k between when I submitted that post and Dane approved it. Still, at $15k from a dealer, that's not terrible.
FWIW, I love Sparkling Graphite Metallic, Edo. It's not flashy, but I personally like it more than Titanium Silver Metallic or Silver Gray Metallic.
