Salvage title
6spd
"grey on grey"

Looks like quite a big ask IMO, but what do i know. If this were ~3k i'd consider buying another and fixing it up so my fiance would stop driving mine..

According to NADA, a clean retail of that car values at $5,600 and clean trade-in at $3,425. Clean private party is probably around $4,000. The only thing this car got it going for is the 6-speed tranny. Even that, no way it is worth $6500. But a sucker is born every second so I'm sure someone will pick it up just because it's a ZHP and got the 6-speed tranny.

They'd have to be quite the sucker...

Salvage title kills it for me as far as wanting to repair it.

What would you guys pay?

I may have a place to store it for parts alone depending on the price. No way I would pay anywhere near what he's asking though.

Just curious, do you remember what it was listed for?

i checked out the site earlier today and i think you just bid on the cars so not sure what he ultimately paid for it.

No idea. It is an auction that you bid on.

I paid that price for mine with 40k miles less, 9/10 body, and no salvage. Not to mention you don't know what type of maintenance it needs. You could get it for 3k and still have a bad deal if it needed a lot of updating
