Hello everyone! I am here because of my son's 2003 ZHP sedan, Imola Red with Natural Brown leather, smoothtop, with a 6-speed manual transmission, handed down from my wife. It is his first car, as crazy as that might sound, but we chose to give that to him because I thought it was a very safe car for him to drive, considering it's active features like ABS and ASC as well as it's rigid body structure and plethora of air bags. I am very glad to have the opportunity to bounce questions off the experienced membership here, and look forward to getting to know you all. One day, he'll want a new car, and I am trying to keep it in good enough shape that it can finally be mine!!

I am in the AV systems integration business, which to the lay person is "home theater", and am happy to answer any questions you might have about my chosen profession, if you are in need of advice or anything. That would be a way I could contribute to the membership, since I probably don't have enough experience with the ZHP to offer much there.

Damn, your son is getting a fantastic first car! He'll have a great time in it. I lusted after the E46 when I was in high school. Welcome to the forum, you'll love it here!

Also, God speed getting it back from your son in a decent condition. If he's anything like me with my first car, it may be a little weather-worn by the time he's finished with it :rofl

Welcome. Congrats to him on his car. My oldest had an '02 330i as his first and decided it didn't have enough leg room, etc. so we sold it and bought him an Orient Blue ZHP.

Thanks for the willingness to answer AV questions too!

Welcome. You wouldn't happen to be in the market to adopt an almost 29/yr old would you? I'd take a ZHP in any variation as long as 6spd. Would gladly do yard-work in exchange for maintenance. Let me know, offer is on the table. :mwah
