Was an Easy Bluetooth Streaming Add-On

A previous owner had installed an iPod adapter on my car. Today I put a Rockford universal bluetooth car adapter into the lighter outlet and used a short FiiO line out cable with right angle plugs to connect the Rockford to the iPod adapter. My iPhone linked to the Rockford adapter and, voila', we had streaming music!

Shawn, yes, that would be nice. How's your knee? By the way, if your knee was made by Stryker, we have the same components as Stryker acquired Mako.

Regarding the bluetooth, I did a half-assed experiment and it seemed using a direct connection from my iPhone to my car's iPod jack was a wee bit better audio quality. A wee bit of difference is not much concern for me as:
1) The car is a convertible, so ambient noise takes away from audio sensory quality
2) The differences are not enough to offset the convenience of getting in the car and immediately switching on Sirius/XM and not dealing with cables.
3) I'm old, my hearing is not what it used to be and, besides, I likely have a bias created by knowing that an additional potential compression step is introduced by going though a bluetooth adapter (anybody know if this is a correct assumption?).

Thanks for asking. Not sure what brand I have!
Still in PT two days per week. Feels pretty good but a bit stiff and sore from time to time. Planning to try a light hike this weekend to see how it holds up.

Bluetooth for the win...

This is how I managed to get Bluetooth connectivity on my ZHP.

Use it with my OEM Aux Input I just installed in the upper cubby under the BMW CD unit.

Works like a charm and pretty inexpensive, (method i used to get Bluetooth on my E30).
