There is no such thing as perfect for everyone, only perfect for someone.

I saw someone taking a white GT4 for a test drive on I-205 a couple of weeks ago (had no plates and still had blue bumper protector stuff on it). The driver was not shy about using it to carve up the lanes.

This is why, for the last 17 years, I've always owned 2 cars, trying to achieve as near-perfection (for me) as possible, by having 2 somewhat contrasting rides that add up to driving bliss. My combinations over the years:
GTI VR6 + 2-liter Scirocco 16V (a spectacular car, featured in March 2005 issue of european car)
Scirocco + GTI 337 (1.8T, 2002)
Golf .:R32 + Scirocco
E90 330i + Scirocco
Z4M Coupe + Scirocco
Z4M Coupe + Mini Cooper S
Z4M Coupe + ZHP
E39 M5 + ZHP
All of these have been formidable pairs in their own way. Quite content with the current pairing, though if I had another spot in the garage, I'd love to add an E46 M3. I love the ZHP as much as ever, 3.5 years into ownership. No plans to ever relinquish it.

I am actually a two-car person too. I have a 2-door Tahoe and the ZHP. Tahoe is a garage queen. The ZHP is more than enough car for daily-driving duties; I have rarely thought that it was not fast enough.

I feel like my 2car setup is:
Porsche GT3RS or GT4.
ZHP daily duty.
