The Mantiicore

Greetings, members of the ZHP clan: I have no choice but to sell my beloved ZHP for personal/health reasons, and to sell it as quickly as possible. If you or anyone you know outside this forum is interested, please read on. I have priced the vehicle at US$10,000.00 for one simple reason, and that is expediency. There is a catch, however: the buyer and I will have to come to an agreement, with a deposit/down payment in place, by Sunday 31 October.
I am aware of the challenges that my location presents, but they are not terribly onerous – my car was originally purchased in California (the owner emigrated here 5 years ago) and thus does not have to be altered to adhere to U.S. vehicle standards, as a car that originated in Canada would have to. As for the distance involved, I am available to deliver or drive the car anywhere in the U.S.except the eastern coastal states for an additional $1000.00 (less if the buyer lives in Washington or Oregon).
I am the 3rd owner of this car. Since the original owner arrived here in 2010 the car has been serviced – with one exception: tires and front brakes – at the same BMW specialist. I have all service records from 2010 on as a result, and have a CarFax report that lists what was done to the car prior to that.
The vehicle is in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition. It has never been smoked in. The car is complete with all manuals and a set of 2 master remote keys. It comes fully loaded with every option available, including Navigation, Harmon Kardon Premium sound system, upgraded leather seats, heated seats with individual memory settings for different driver, bi-xenon adaptive headlights, etc.. I have just finished restoring the interior leather with Leatherique ‘Rejuvenator’ (if you don’t have this product you might want to try it out! That 'wear' spot on the front left of the driver's seat is no longer visible), so the interior looks fantastic. Oil changes have been made religiously.
Full disclosure: (a) the car needs a windshield wiper pump; (b) it will require a system check soon; (c) 3 of the 4 wheels have some curb rash;(d) it recently suffered a small 2” dent to the passenger side door that is difficult to see/capture with a camera but I will keep trying. I believe it can simply be punched out; (e) the lower front fascia has been scraped in places thanks to the occasional unnecessarily high parking lot curb. That is it.
It’s been an absolute joy to drive, has never given me any problems, and I am having a hard time getting my head around having to part with it, but there you are. I know the phrase is tossed out all the time when something is sold, but $10,000 for this car really is a steal. Having compared mine to numerous other ZHPs in similar condition, with these features, I believe it would/should normally sell for between $14,500-16,500. I purchased the car 2 years ago for $17,500.00 (ok ok, in CDN$, but our dollar then was not what it was now in terms of USD!)
