Went to do my front brakes last night. The caliper carrier bolt was stuck. After some heat it finally came out. The head is somewhat stripped, but the threads are fine. I emailed my local BMW dealership to ask if these were in stock. The best he could do is have them by monday. I would really like to tackle my brakes this weekend. So my question to all of you is do I wait for the genuine bmw bolt or do I go to a hardware store and get somethign suffice or wait until the bmw one comes in? Also is a hardware store going to have this? I need a M12x1.5x32 bolt.

If you can find one with an equivalent rating, I feel like that should be fine. ?
I think Seth has some experience with this...

I'd be fine with that for 2 days.

Thanks guys. Ended up picking up 4 new ones at the dealership yesterday. New front brake rotors and pads are on the car. Shoutout to Ray for hooking it up.
