So, I may have a line on a ZHP coupe (time will tell!) Buying that would necessitate selling my '04 330Ci (non-ZHP) I just put a set of Koni Sport struts/shocks on it in the springtime, and I'm thinking I might remove those and replace them with something uh, less costly shall we say, and keep the Konis for the ZHP. Anybody got a recommendation for a decent, lower cost option for struts/shocks?

Dang! You could've used my old ones when we replaced them 2 weeks ago... I mean one of them was gone as you saw, but could've used them and reduced the price of the car a little I guess, instead of buying new ones now...

If you can somehow come out here and pick them up, I have all the old suspension components from my suspension refresh. They're all original with ~51k miles on it. Link to my craigslist ad:

Not sure if that helps, otherwise I would say Sachs as Vas suggested.

Take a look at the KYB Excel-G. Great shock IMO.

So, where's the head-slap emoticon when I need it?? I have a brand new set of Koni FSDs waiting to put on the ZHP sedan...but as far as I can tell, the OE's are still functional. I could install the FSDs, take the OEs from the ZHP sedan and install them on the 330Ci, and keep the Koni Sports for the 'new' ZHP coupe when they're needed. Don't know why that didn't occur to me earlier.... :facepalm

+1 on the KYBs. Had them on my ZSP 330i.
Comfy, but still were up to the task of playing when you wanted to.
Very affordable.

How much would it cost to ship that to the east coast?

No clue. I would have to pack them up and see what the dimensions of the box are and how much it weighs. My gut tells me anywhere from $30-60.
