Well it was on the wife's car and she said she got tired of the noise it made. Could no longer hear the engine but just the intake.

The solution isn't to get rid of the intake; it's to buy an exhaust. :biggrin

The car has the BMW Performance exhaust on it. It is not loud by any means but does have a nice rumble to it.

As far as intakes, the only one that I would consider would be the BMW Performance intake and that is strictly for looks. Otherwise they just make noise and look silly in the engine bay IMO.

If only you knew the sound of the GruppeM... You wouldn't care about the looks once you heard it. :)

Maybe. But I can't get over the look of it even if it makes orgasmic sounds.

Ultimately, the looks don't matter for a part most people wont ever lay eyes on. That's just me.

Besides, even if they did, the GruppeM looks awesome in design...
