After months of exhausting search, I finally got my hands on my first ZHP! Love it! Only question I have is, and I already tried to use search to see if there is a post about this already and I'm sure I missed it but it came with some beautiful Avant Garde wheels and I wanted to replace the center caps and with the oem spindles and I have tried everything short of jacking the car and removing each wheel, normally it wouldn't be a problem but I just had wisdom teeth pulled today and was told not to do anything strenuous and of course my new spindles came today too. Anyway does anyone know how in gods name to get the avant Garde ones off without damaging the wheels?? Thanks! I'm excited to officially be part of the family now!! 2104721048

Nice ride! Congrats!
Centre caps can be attached in a variety of ways. Some clip in, some stick on with light-grade glue/silicone, others require specialized tools, etc. etc.
Take one of the wheels off the car and have a look at the back of the centre cap - there will likely be clips you can undo with a simple flathead.

Beautiful car, welcome! And most just pop out from behind once you take the wheel off...I mean...at least that's how the OE ones work.

Welcome. Remove the wheel and pop them out. Or if they are trashed you should be able to drill or tap a small screwdriver into them and pop them out.

Welcome! Your car looks great, Mystic Blue is my favorite color ZHP. As others have said, I think you'll have to take one of the wheels off to get a better idea how to swap out the caps.

Caps usually require wheel removal. I've never seen one on the E46 platform that didn't require removal of the wheel to pop it out from behind.

HEYYYYY. That's my car! :roundel
Btw, I was able to take out the center caps with a flat head screw driver. You'll have to remove the wheel to get the cap off. Once it's off just apply pressure at one of the ends and slowly pull it away from the tab. You should be able to get it out with your fingers after that.
Best of luck and enjoy the car!

First thought or moment was sitting in the car the first time and looking at the wheel and gauges and shifter and everything just felt right or natural, maybe is the word I'm looking for. A feeling of excitement is a good way to describe it also.
