Hey Everyone,
Finally got time to post pictures of the car. Big thanks to the members who gave feedback on whether or not to go with this particular ZHP. I am in love with this car! So much fun!
A quick car history for no reason: I started in a 2003 325i back in 2006. I really wanted a ZHP then, but could not afford it. I did try to make it into as much as a "mock" ZHP as I could (M3 Steering wheel, ZHP shift knob, Carbon trim, red needles etc.). Ended up selling the 325i and getting a FRS, which was a ton of fun, but a little too small and lacked the BMW feel I was missing. 8 months ago, I randomly searched Craigslist for ZHP and ended up finding a 2012 F30 328i Sport line with 6 speed manual. I thought, things must have just kept getting better, right? Well I was wrong. The 328i felt way too big, it lost the heavy steering I loved and just was not fun like the e46 was. So I made the decision to sell the 2012 6 months after buying it and start the search for a "real ZHP". After a few weeks of looking, I found the one I was looking for only 50 miles away.
I plan to use this thread as a log of what I have done to the car, both mods and maintenance. Here it is as I got it:
