Really?? She doesn't drive a ZHP, does she? I see one driven by a lovely female every now and then, a black sedan, in my neck of the woods.

Looking at the photos, I realize that I am pretty much seeing a for sale ad for my car right there. I bought it with 75k miles, which is almost exactly what you have now. Imola with alcantara, Cold Weather Package, ZHP, Xenons, black cube, standard radio. I'll bet you our sticker prices are the same! My car was even lowered, but about the same amount, when I bought it.

This car gets driven darned near 365 days a year! I have been unemployed for half the year though so maybe that's why she stopped seeing me. :(
I don't have a commute for my new job so if I'm 95 it's not on a regular basis.

My wife drives a black Matrix(Yaris' bigger brother) and is also heavy on the right foot. I don't think your ZHP will be that hard of a sell though cuz we've already hashed out this conversation in the past. I'll keep ya posted. :)

I was set on Alcantara first. Then, I found a nice ZHP with leather. I believe that worked better for me: My 4 y/o son likes to eat and drink in the car ! Leather is easier to keep clean.

yea, it's suede-ish type material. I like it because, well, it's kind of unique. It's also cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. When you get in the car in the summer heat it won't peel off your skin for being so hot like leather does. What i do not know is how much better/worse it will wear vs. leather.

I can attest to them being a bit cooler in the summer. Surprisingly though, the difference isn't huge between the alcantara/cloth and the leather after I swapped it out. It does seem to grip better though during hard cornering, but once again, the difference is negligible.

I can tell you that it doesn't wear very well though. It requires a fair bit of maintenance to keep it from looking like crap. It pills up after a while if you don't brush the alcantara regularly, and even then, you will occasionally get pilling, which requires removal for it to look right. Mine was in amazing shape still after having over 190k-200k on it before I swapped it out, but that's because I stayed on top of it regularly. The Natural Brown leather I put in looks more or less the same after 20-30k, which is more than can be said about the alcantara.

Overall, the alcantara/cloth interior is excellent, just stay on top of it to keep it looking good.

During the colder months though it doesn't turn into a brick. And Alcantara with butt warmers is the bomb.

I wanted a leather ZHP from the start...so much easier to deal with and with tinted windows the "burning" effects of leather can be minimized significantly. Seat warmers during the winter take care of those months...but 330i Lover wouldn't really need to worry about that in FL! :thumbsup

She thinks it's pretty but that it's lowered too much. I agree that it's lower than I thought but if anything I'd consider some billstein shocks to improve the bounciness vs. the ride height. Time shall tell. Overall she's happy that I'm happy.

On the Vehicle Condition Report page it states:
Drive shaft guibo clutch: Right Rear Diff Seal Leaking
Condition and adjustment of belts: Belts are beginning to crack
Brake pads/rotors-front: 11MM
Brake pads/rotors-back: 6MM

That's it. :biggrin
