Hey! I have been looking at ZHPs for over 6 months now and finally pulled the trigger. I was really wanting the natural brown interior but settled for my second preference, grey leather. I did find the exterior color I wanted, orient blue as well as the cold weather package. The car had to be an automatic for my wife to drive it. I travel 50% of the time with my job, so knowing there is 2 cars in the garage she can drive makes me feel better when I am not home and her car possibly doesn't crank.

I found the car at a Ford dealership in Charleston and they did not know what it was. It is a 2004 330i with 125k. They were asking $9900 but I ended up getting it for $7600. It had a PPI done at European Road and Racing in Charleston where Ford paid to have all fluids flushed and changes as well as replace the lower coolant hose and replace rear tires.

So far I have replaced the cup holder, windshield cowl, cabin filter, and one of the emblems on a center cap. Last night I also replaced my dried out steering wheel with one I had recovered by CobyWheel. I also have the gear selector and e-brake boots to match it. Looks and feels great!

First off, welcome to the family!

The car looks great and you certainly did well on the price. I lived in Greenville for 9 years before moving to SoCal last September. I miss it terribly... considering moving back in Q1 of 2016. Looks like you are in Simpsonville?

Welcome. I grew up in Aiken and my wife is from Sumter. Love the color (I've had two OB cars).
I wonder what happened to the OE wheels?

Welcome, you'll love it here! It's full of great people and mountains of information and resources. The car looks nice and sounds like you got a great deal between the price and the handful of maintenance items they threw in. I quite like the wheels as well. Also glad that you're bringing some color variety to the family (my coupe is Oriental Blue as well). We're inundated with fancy pants Imolas (not that there's anything wrong with that!) :dueling

Thanks for the kind words and welcome! Sorry about the rotated photos, not sure why that happened. This forum has already been a huge help to me in finding the right car and knowing what to look for when buying a used zhp.

Welcome!

I worked for a company based in Greenville for 8 years and have been there many times, love the area. 2 corporate visits to the BMW Performance Center too. Gotta make it back there someday.

Your car looks fantastic, and it sounds like you scored a GREAT deal. Congratulations.

If your wheel is old and dried like mine was, you should definitely talk to Mike and get a recovered one. Well worth the $200 in my opinion.

Welcome. My family broke down in Greenville, SC one time on the way back to Cincinnati from Charleston. The engine threw a rod. Good times. :). This forum is great and I'm new as well. Great members.

Welcome to the mafia. More like a family than a forum. I live in NC so not too far from you.
Enjoy!
