After 4 months of waiting (shipping issues), lots of working cutting and re-pouring concrete, and numerous small issues....the hoist is operational! Yeah, I know....the garage is still a mess. Going to work on that tonight - I'm just glad to finally have this thing working!

that is SO cool. So, if it needs servicing does the concrete need to be dug up or anything?

Nope - in theory, it can be lifted right out of the 'pockets' we poured in the concrete, once the bolts are undone. I say in theory because it's quite heavy and would be a chore in practice, but really everything can be serviced from the top side, so it shouldn't be an issue.

Thanks all! I'm so glad to finally have this done...been holding off on a number of projects on the cars, waiting for the lift. Got trans & diff fluids to change on both cars, parking brake adjustments on the ZHP, new shocks/struts for the ZHP, and lots of detailing on areas that are otherwise hard to reach! Of course, I already have a little maintenance project to do for a neighbor, replacing rusted out trans cooler lines in his Mercury Milan. Didn't take long, did it!?
