Do they care what core you send or not? (Does it have to be the same as you order?)

Nope. JB3 sent in a 3.07 and is getting a 3.46.

correct, i did the same. but if you send in a 3.07 with a 6-bolt input shaft flange, you can request that they swap the input shaft flange and output shaft flages from your stock diff to the 3.46 (which has a 4-bolt input shaft flange and smaller output shaft flanges).

Yeah, that is what they did with mine. Swapped it all with one of your guy's cores :p

This is crucial to know. Ultimately I sent my core for a rebuild so they just used my correct flanges.

Mine will be in Monday as well! :thumbsup You'll probably get yours hooked up before me though. They told me around a 500 mile breakin period with a fluid flush following.

Not so sure, I have a Kentucky trip next weekend, if I don't get it in by then it'll be 3 weeks.

Haven't heard anything about a 500 mile break-in, but sounds reasonable. Looks like 1 tank of gas for a Honda application according to their site. Also specifies specific oil for that application, but I'm pretty sure I read no special fluid or modififor BMW Helicals. Need to double check.

We normally recommend using the oem spec 75w90 gear oil. Do NOT use any gear oil that has Limited Slip Modifiers in it, as a Helical LSD relies on friction to function.
