Wow, 7500 miles. It's probably only had a couple of oil changes!

Assuming the car was mid-40's new, and he gets $25k for it now, it cost him well over $3/mile including insurance, license, and maintenance. I suppose, technically he paid more to NOT drive the car than he did to drive it, but... Ouch.
