Hello all. glad to be a part of what looks like a great group. a little about me. i'm not a kid anymore, but love to feel like one. Cars are one path I use to follorw the youthful trail. I started as a kid with a fascination of cars. Ever since my first Euro, (vw bug) I was hooked on German engineering. I have had around 60 cars in my lifetime and most were Euro. Now that I have a ZHP, the saga continues. Right now I have a 2004 ZHP, 175000 miles, got it for $4000. needs typical work, vac leaks, valve cover gasket, window regulator, head lights dimm, etc. so far fixed a few of those issues with the help of this forum. The ZHP will be my winter car. My summer car is a 1990 Porsche 928 S4, 152000 miles, I drive it almost everyday when the snow stops. My wife has a VW CC. 19319193201932119322

What part of Wisconsin are you located in?

Spring Green. They have a huge car show here in August with over 500 cars. Ring Brothers are from here. Google their builds. Amazing.

Oh you're in Sauk Co. I got ya. Been up that way a bunch of times when I was in Madison. I've heard of Ring Brothers but never been up there... I was more of a Kelly Moss-aholic when I was there. Not really that into American Muscle either but can appreciate most cars for what they are.

I polished the lenses already and did the TRS Xenon retrofit. I literally had no lights at night. now I do. I can take a picture later. I used plastic model sanding pads. 1500, 1800, 2400, 4000 and 12000 grit, then used Novus plastic polish.

I've had a bunch of bugs. I used to buy a bunch at a time and refurb them, drive them and got bored and sold them. I've had 13 other cars in the last 10 years. the Porsche is not going anywhere anytime soon. Also I do really like the ZHP and plan on keeping that for a long time.

I had an '86 944 (Stone Grey metallic with Linen interior).... car was stunning and I had it for 15 years before I let it go and moved onto BMWs.... been with these cars since. Looking back, I wished I had gotten a 944 turboS model....that car would have been so much fun to drive :)

The 928S4 you have has that classic Porsche line and styling for front engine Porsches... to me it was a very clean looking car and the exhaust note was spectacular! I heard one when I was in Scotland once.... loved hearing that car at WOT :)
