Hi all. New member to ZHP Mafia but I've been around for a bit. Got my first BMW in 2001 and have driven BMWs since then. I'm on the board of directors of the local CCA chapter, done a lot of modifications over the years and done a handful of track events. These days I'm busier with family and don't do as much time on forums or working on cars but I still find plenty of fun from all of it.
1987 325 - 2001-2013 (M50 swap, euro bumpers, etc.)
1998 323is - 2004-2009
1997 M3/4/5 - 2009-present
2002 325iT - 2013-present
I've also flipped/parted a few E30s.

The 2002 325iT is very ZHP-like. It has ZHP suspension with H&R sport springs, 18x9 wheels, Diffsonline LSD, GPower supercharger (224WHP), plus more essential/neat bits to round it out.

I might be getting a ZHP this year. I'm looking at a few different cars to replace the wagon once I sell it. Hopefully, that'll go smoothly and I'll be rolling my family around in the ZHP I've been wanting now for 7 years.

Welcome, sir. You will like this forum. I got my first BMW (1992 e36) back in 2004. I'm on my 4th one now.

Welcome! About time someone with the Gpower unit showed up. :) How is that setup?

Interested here as well. I don't know the stock ZHP numbers but the boosted numbers quoted seemed low knowing the s54 numbers.

Sean from what I can tell, its an M54 325i engine so it started its life out with 192hp.

Thanks, all!
Let's see here. A few answers to your questions.

GPower unit. It's a good little supercharger. Nothing big. Nothing unruly. 4-5 lbs of boost. Stock tune. I'm sure things could be better with a custom tune but $$. No cooling issues. No intercooler. Just boost and fun. Best $3k-$4k upgrade you can get. It definitely puts the car in ZHP power territory. Better, actually. I wish it had a little more torque in the low RPM but it's fine. The car also has stainless Magnaflow exhaust including headers. Sounds great. SC whine AND grunt. Lightweight, too.

I'm asking $9500 to the guy who was asking about me selling it. I'm inclined to swap an OEM diff back in the car to bring the price down. Same with the E46 M3 steering wheel.

I'm in the Kansas City area. The ZHP I'm looking for needs to be a sedan (family) but I'm open to both manual and auto. (Actually, how terrible are the autos in terms of reliability?).

My M3. Here are more pics.

derbo is correct. This car has the 2.5L M54 which started life with 192hp (at the crank).

The car dyno'd at 160 at the wheels prior to upgrades which included GPower supercharger kit and Magnaflow headers and exhaust.

After those upgrades it put down 224hp at the wheels. Roughly, I'd guess 250-260hp at the crank.

Autos are the most produced version of the zhp. They are fine afa being reliable. You do hear of problems now and them but nothing compared to the numbers produced.

Ha! I am interested but the seriousness of my interest is limited. I don't expect to take off the supercharger to make it legal in CA. It would be very nice and could potentially help provide funds for a S54 swap but...I don't have that much free time.
