I didn't find much on our site but plenty more on e60 forums. Besides throttle adaptation clearing, nothing much popped up. you guys copy?
BTW its 10 s ON position, followed by 10 s OFF position , correct? No touching the pedal?

RESETTING GAS PEDAL
First, with the key removed, sit in the driver's seat and insert the key.
Turn the key to position "2". Position "2" is one position before the car engages and starts.
Wait 10 seconds and then turn the key back to position "0", which is the initial position.
Once again wait 10 seconds and then start the car up.
You should now have your throttle response reset and your driving pattern from this point on will dictate how your throttle response adapts.
Over time your throttle response will once again become lacking and another reset will need to be performed. It is recommended that this be performed every 3-6 months if you feel the need to have your spirited car back.

Thanks Gary.
I am also interested in getting rid of the P1515 code that pops up a lot (thanks to UltraGuage II).
I will reset and report to see if the P1515 code stops coming on.

So far so good, resetting the throttle adaptation values seems to have done the trick.
P1515 is no longer popping up every 30 seconds.

I have a pending P1515 code when i started up yesterday.
Did you ever find a permanent solution?

My son is driving the car now. I will ask him. But I think the code never came back
