Found on Craigslist. Alpine White on Alcantara interior. Doesn't look to have the Cold Weather Package, no Premium Package.

Great find!
Premium Package N/A on 2003's, and even on 2004/2005's, offered very little. Cold Weather….if it has heated seats then that's good enough…IMO.

I'd need heated seats + fold down rear seats. Then I'd be satisfied. But yeah, Alpine White, low miles, manual, can't complain about that.

The ad says 18500... nice car, but expensive...

The seller just updated it I guess. It was $16.5k and it did read 53,000 miles, now says 53,893. Oh well.

also to mention, the car does NOT have fold down seats, navigation, park assist, heated seats, PDC, or auto headlight/rain sensor. It's priced too high in my opinion for what it is.

Ugh my favorite color... Not to mention I have family in Scottsdale I could visit at the same time. I agree though that price is a little to much...actually more like a lot to much.

This is a good car for sure but without all the options, it is not worth the 18.5k the owner is asking.
But it's white. It makes the zhp special

Having a lower mileage car is a nice thing but I would never buy a car that's bare-bones option-wise when others can be had with options. As I have said earlier I feel that $18.5 is priced too high for this car even if it's AW...I think he would do much better if he priced this car for $14k - $15k based on lack of options and low mileage his car has. If he's serious about selling this car then he will come down just a little...:thumbsup
Somebody gave him an offer of $17k lol. People are insane

Yeah, I read that in the other thread. I agree with you Vas, people are insane.

Guys, $17k for 53k miles, rare and ultra desirable color combo, not that crazy in my opinion. People list these for $13k-$15k all day long with 100k to 150k miles. I sold my alpine white / Alcantara Zhp with 90k miles for $13, albeit with much more maintenance done. I'd pay a 30% premium for half the mileage all day long!

As would I, if the two cars were comparably well-equipped. This is a bare bones model. I'm w/ Charlie on this one - no way jose.

Agree 100%. We also see lots of cars that have been hit, had a zillion owners and no service records, etc. I think a healthy premium for super-low-mileage cars, that have not ever been hit nor had any paintwork, and have a documented history, is warranted. A car that has spent its entire life in a dry western climate, such as this one, deserves a premium for that as well, IMHO.
That said - the asking price is too high on this one, given its light spec list, but who's to say how much it could actually be pried away for? If someone gets serious about this car, I'm willing to go have a look and take better pics, I'm not far away.

Looks like 18K is the new norm for a clean, low mileage ZHP these days... I've seen some other cars popping up with that asking price.

Purchased by mafioso calypsom3. I did a recon on it for him on Saturday. He sealed the deal by Sunday morning, somewhere south of asking price, at a figure he was comfortable with. I suspect he'll chime in soon.
That car was super-clean. One owner, service history fully documented, front wheels just refinished, new brakes, alleged FCAB replacement at some point (I didn't see the binder of records, and this guy was flipping the car for the original owner, a friend who had recently passed). Sure drove like they were new. Mine were toast at same mileage and it was immediately apparent. The only thing it needs is a reskin of the alcantara steering wheel and a good detail job. Stuff like the rubber seals around all the glass - which can age very rapidly here in the sonoran desert - was perfect. The car was truly well-cared for. David (buyer) got a great deal IMHO, because ZHPs in this condition are becoming nearly unobtainium, other than the rare EAG appearance at astronomical pricing.
I'm glad I was able to help. If anyone ever needs a recon here in the Phoenix area, PM me.

Cool beans.. At this point I almost gave up my search. Think I'm just gonna lease M235i or something.

you have champagne taste and beer money. Not a good combination if you want a zhp so clean EAG would be impressed with but don't want to pay for it.

I guess you're right, I wouldn't call 14-15K beer money though. I thought that would buy me a very clean ZHP, but the ones I like are pushing 20s now.
Oh well.

Kevin...thanks again for your help. This is a great forum and engagements like this is what makes this community special. I have placed a deposit and working out the rest of the details. I am going to ship the vehicle as it is roughly the same cost to fly in and drive back...$600.00. Looking forward to getting this car home and adding some personal enhancements.

M235I lease requires $4,200 down and $479/mo for 36 months.
Given that logic, you could find a 20k ZHP, put 4k down, and get a 1.99% 36mo loan from Penfed for $460.00mo. I don't see the issue. Good luck...you just need to commit to the cause :-).

Does this mean that you're committed to the cause and are buying?
