first drive in an E46 was sometime in 2012. took me long enough - i had been driving audis for 10 years at that point and had kind of been avoiding BMWs because i heard they were maintenance nightmares - ha! they are far easier to work on that any audi! anyway, it was a base-model 325i sedan and wow, it did not leave a good impression - steering was nice, ergonomics not so good (standard seats), suspension tired and awful.

always loved the ZHP - admired from afar, until i happened upon a good deal, and drove my first one back in february 2014 (ha, last year!), bought it and drove it home on the same day. that was my coupe. liked it so much that i bought my ZHP sedan a month later.

Drove my first E46 in 2010 and loved it (buddy's 325i Touring with a manual transmission). Purchased a 2003 330Ci MT5 in January 2013. Used it until an unlicensed hunting accident put it to rest in July 2014. Bought my 2005 330Ci ZHP MT6 just two days ago (03/25/2015) and the smiles haven't stopped.

Each and every one have put a smile on my face, all for different reasons. They've all been amazing. My '03 ZHP has garnered the most love from me, but I have a feeling that will eventually change with the new M3 when she arrives.



More importantly than ANY of these cars, I've made some of the best friends, Coast to Coast... And that's no bullshit. I keep in touch with 2-3 local friends at the most when I'm away from home, but I keep in touch with many of my Mafia friends all the time. You guys are awesome. :thumbsup

Picked up my '03 330Ci in Oct of 2006. It was a CPO with 24k on the clock. First E46, second BMW.

Was in the market for a new-to-me car, as my DD at the time (2000 Saab 9-3) was getting up there in age (175K). Drove home from work and saw my car in the dealer's lot. Was looking for "that car" for a while and decided to take a look. Exactly what I wanted. That was a Tuesday, showed up at the dealer on Friday with a check and took delivery on the following Monday. Now it has a lot more miles.
