Rough cold start followed by unknown code

Lately with this cold weather my car occasionally tries to stall while I drive. My indy told me to warm up the car to prevent it and start driving once it gets above the blue. Seemed to fix my problem.

Until this morning, started warming it up, and went into limp mode, but stopped once it warmed up. It also left me a p16a2 code. I cannot find any info on this anywhere. My friend tried to look it up on alldata and it wasn't there either. I was curious if anyone has come across it and what it means. Recently replaced my ccv, spark plugs, and intake boots.

What maintenance has been done to the car and what is the mileage?

I don't have a pa soft yet. Looks like I'll be ordering one.

And it's at 118 k mi bought at 105. Not sure what previous maintenance has been performed. But I have done oil changes, coolant system (thermostat, hoses, water pump, expansion housing and belts), oil separator ccv insulated with hoses, and spark plugs.

Are you sure it's a P16a2 code? Could the "a" actually be a number? How did you read the code?

P1602 could mean "Control Module Self Test, Control Module Defective"
P1622 could mean "MAP Cooling Control Circuit Electrical"
P1622 could mean
P1632 could mean "Throttle Valve Adaptation; Adaptation Condition Not Met"
etc.


Though the specific meaning will depend on the car maker.

On the other hand my search for the code turned up "ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (ECM) INTERNAL CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION"

Thank you, and that makes sense. I have had a p1632 thrown during the summer. I scanned it with dash command.

Stop by Advance Auto and borrow there scanner?

It reads the same. I think I'm gonna take it to the shop in a few weeks when I get new top hats. And i will just pick up a pa soft when I can
