Year(s): 2004 - 2006
Budget: Up to $19,500
Desired location of vehicle: Preferably in a non-salting road part of the USA, but would consider a demonstrably non-rusted car from up North
Desired Mileage:20K to 120K
Transmission type: 6MT Only
Desired number of Doors: 2
Desired Color combos: Exterior: Descending order of preference: Oxford Green, Sparkling Graphite, Titanium Silver, Silver Gray, Alpine White, Orient Blue, Monaco Blue, Mystic Blue
Interior: Descending order of preference: Black, Natural Brown, Gray, Beige
Desired Packages: ZHP, Heated Seats, Navigation, Back-up Sensors, Air-Deflector behind seat, Sirius
Funds lined up? Yes. Certified Check or other cash-like transfer transaction
Have a car you need to sell first? No

Note: Will pay a premium for a car that has already had the VANOS, DISA, Stewart water pump, hoses, belts, O2 sensors, etc. replaced. I plan to have all those components changed out after purchase anyway and thus would pay more for a car where the owner has already done the work. I am located in North Carolina and have experience shipping vehicles. A local BMW mechanic would be involved to check out the vehicle prior to making the deal.

Leather or Alcantara?

I'd consider both. From looking at the Color/Upholstery production spreadsheet in the ZHP wiki, it looks like Ancantara ZHP 6MT convertibles are comparatively rare: 90 out of 806 produced for the US market (am assuming the Laser Cloth (G7) on the chart is the Ancantara option). There's nothing like having a special car . . . .

Bought a 2004 ZHP Gray (AO8), black interior, navigation, parking sensors, heated seats, 6MT convertible today with 102K miles. Am now part of the ZHP Mafia gang.

It has an alcantara steering wheel and leather seating. The steering wheel sure is fuzzy looking and fuzzy feeling, too. May have to replace it one day.
