Pretty sure you mean CD54. If you want the version that does aux it needs to be post-03 I believe
Edit: Nm, cd54 is professional cd
So you just want the factory business cd? I'm sure you can find somebody to trade nav for non-nav

i don't think you can go from nav to business cd. at least not easily.

Check Fleabay, there are always a buttload of them for sale there. I bought one when I first bought my car due to the all-too-common wobbly volume control knob.

Not wanting to trade the nav for a non-nav, as the nav is worth way more! I just find the nav to be pretty useless and frustrating to control. Would rather have the simple headunit and extra storage :)

I'll be swapping out my Business CD with an AVIN Avant-1 as soon as it arrives in the mail (hopefully before the end of the week). I'll also have the proper HVAC relocation bracket that you'll need, since you currently have the bracket for the Navi unit that doesn't have space for the sunglass holder compartment. I'll PM you once I have everything removed with the exact part numbers.

he's going to need more than the bracket. he'll need the whole wiring harness too as the nav uses different plugs. unless the car i worked on was different for some reason lol

Yeah I've been trying to figure this out - do you have any idea what will be required?

there was a thread on this on m3forum i think. but you needed to replace the entire wiring harness for the car that required ripping up the carpet. it was too much work, so we dropped the project and went with like an avin (or whatever it was called at the time) unit instead. they only make retrofit harness that goes from business to nav, but not the other way around. But I was thinking about trying to grab that retrofit harness and using it as a base to make it work. Just never went further.
