I am a member of several car forums and find this forum to be populated with responsible and engaging owners. You do not always find that to be true in all car forums. My daily drivers are a 2014 Acura RLX and a 2014 GMC Sierra. As I am an old guy and have never owned a convertible, I'm looking for manual transmission (my last manual transmission car was a 1974 Mercury Capri 2.8 V6 bought new and driven to 120K miles. I should never have sold that car in 1983, but was broke and needed a used station wagon for my sales business . . . . .), want some room to spread out (have been considering a MINI S convertible, but too tight for my bride and I to take on fun trips with luggage) and most of all, want some performance zip as I may be old, but I still like to have fun going through the gears.

If you hear of a silver, white, blue or dark gray ZHP 6MT convertible with less than 100K miles, send me a message.

Yes, I spotted that one, too. I ran the VIN tracker on it and it has a lot of good stuff. No cold weather package. Has the premium package. Looks like a sweet low mileage car.

BTW, if you can get one with the cold weather package, the heated seats in a vert make a HUGE difference!

Bill, gonna be tough to find under 100k. mileage really shouldn't be a factor on these anyway... here is one in Jacksonville FL, not too too far...

Nice looking car. Well optioned. The Carfax shows the car spending early years of its life in the DC burbs and the last 80K or so miles in North Florida. The natural brown seats is a rarity according to the well researched production chart on the ZHP Mafia site.

FYI ... Carmax moved this vert from San Antonio to Austin. For those interested, I can take a look.

i now have a 2004 ZHP 6MT silver gray convertible with black leather seats/Alcantera wheel. It has 108K miles. Am enjoying driving this sweet ride. A big thanks to the folks who put together and contributed to the ZHP Mafia site as it helped me recognize how to identify ZHP candidates. My car was traded to a VW dealership 50 miles away, the Autotrader ad had no pix and the dealership was set to send it to auction because the top did not work (fixing broken wires now). It was the VIN showing 767 package that signaled, hey, this is a ZHP. It has heated seats, back-up sensors and nav. Four previous owners: first two were in DC burbs, last two in Charlotte area. Aftermarket IPod/iPhone plug installed by prior owner.

Am having fun shifting gears again. Last car owned with manual gearbox was a 1974 Mercury Capri 2.8 V-6 (the German Ford Capri) that was sold in 1983 with 120K miles. Like riding a bicycle, clutching and shifting expertise came back within two city blocks. Excellent clutch pressure and gear shift action on this car. The first weekend I sometimes bobbled the 2-3 shift by going to 5. Soon it will be second nature . . . . .

Dealer tag. Photo taken before buying the car. Car now in the shop getting the top controls fixed, will get pictures later. If I was a younger man with time on my hands and no money, I'd be fixing the top controls myself, but I'm now an older guy with no time and fortunately have enough money to have an independent shop do the fixing of the top controls (likely broken wires). Am buying a hardtop this weekend and will be installing the hardtop attachment kit myself.
