It's official (or officially mine!)

As I mentioned before, I've been storing a ZHP in my garage for a friend until we could come to terms on a price to make it mine. Well, somewhere out there on the distant horizion is spring and better weather, so I'm getting the itch to get it ready! We agreed on a price today and will do the whole title/money exchange next weekend, but it's essentially mine now.

I moved it out of the garage today and noticed some noise from one of the tensioners, but I had planned on doing the whole cooling system refresh anyway, so I ordered those parts today. Kinda excited to actually be able to start doing something with the car other than stare at it in the garage!! Not that any of you would understand that feeling, of course...:rofl

Ooops, forgot details for those who don't know or remember:

I think I jinxed myself....just a mere mention of "spring" and we got 14" of snow! So, instead of driving the Bimmers, I've spent 10 hours over yesterday and today plowing on the Kubota - it ain't the same! :foottap

I didn't...but maybe I should, just to say thanks! He knows he could have gotten more for it, but all along he kept saying he wanted to sell it to me, and of course who am I to say "no"! And, he gets unlimited visitation rights!!

I got lucky enough to get some decent weather in December and was able to wash & wax the car before putting it away for the winter, so these are all the pics I have at the moment. Thanks, I like the Imola as well...but I gotta say, some of the silver-grey cars I've seen on this forum are gorgeous! I've always liked that color, and I think BMW got it just about perfect!
