Found on AutoTrader. Silver Grey Metallic on unknown interior color. Claimed one owner. Possibly Premium Package (says lumbar adjustment) and maybe the Cold Weather Package (heated seats, can't see if there are headlight cleaners). Not a bad price if maintenance has been decent and everything else is in decent shape.

AutoCheck: http://www.autotrader.com/redirect/experian_forward.jsp?car_id=390671686&experianPS=true&TRANS=A&SID=ATCqJlA5VVpBDQcyYO

The AutoCheck report suggests it is indeed a one owner car. Plugging in the VIN to a VIN decoder indicates it has black leather interior and Cold Weather as well as Premium Packages.

Certainly worth checking out at that price.

Got an email from the owner with a few interior photos. I asked some more questions regarding maintenance, condition, etc.

Looks clean. Wish it was tad closer... 7 h drive from my place.

If it's advertised condition, though.. I'd probably fly over. Any more details about the car?
Just dropped an e-mail to the owner.

Some more info from the owner:

The only accident the car has had according to the owner was hitting a jack rabbit which broke on of the fog lights but was repaired immediately.
Rarely driven in the snow during its time in Wyoming, Colorado, and Indiana, stressing if it was driven in the snow it was only on plowed roads.
"All maintenance has been performed at BMW Service Centers at the 10,000 mile mark or yearly as suggested by manufacture. I have had the full maintenance and whatever was suggested done by BMW on these visits. I do not have the detailed info for each visit. But it has been fully maintained as recommended by BMW."
Owner has two keys, but only one is original. The other was replaced last year.
"There are a few small scratches in the paint, nothing significant. No rust, and no known dents. It is a 10 year old car. It does have some wear and tear, but overall it is very minor."
"There are no rips in the seats, there is a little bit of scuffing on the side of the driver seat, very minimal, and there are some scratches on the carbon graphite trim on the drivers door. Over all the interior is in excellent shape"
"There are no issues with the car, no noises, no services lights on, no funny noises."

I was going to offer to check it out for anyone, but yeah, turns out Newberg is a six hour drive from me. Louisville is closer. :facepalm

Talking with the owner I'd be a little wary of what would need to be done in terms of maintenance. It's no fault of theirs, but although it's "up to date" according to the owner, it sounds like they're following BMW's maintenance schedule which calls for 15k oil changes, 100k transmission fluid changes, i.e. not the most thorough maintenance schedule.

With the car sitting at 91k, depending on what has actually been done (the owner doesn't have records on hand), you might have to do a fair amount of maintenance in the near future such as a cooling system overhaul, suspension refresh (shocks/struts, bushings), change fluids (transmission, oil, power steering, etc), spark plugs, filters, brakes, belts/pulleys, etc.

We all know BMWs aren't necessarily cheap nor expensive to maintain (depending on how you look at it), but be aware that it may need some preventative and costly work. Just my $0.02
