Tony,
Fill in the blanks. I heard you helped someone with this.
Thanks.

Requires a jailbreak. I'll send you the .ipa file and see if you can load it on to your phone.

on Android, you can redownload the older apk and install it. Be sure to have "install from unknown sources" checkbox enabled.

Just orange is fine. If anyone wants to try to fix theirs let me know.

It's been several years since I have needed / wanted to do this but back then I just deleted the app from my iPhone, found the folder on my computer where iTunes stored apps, deleted the newest version that I didn't want, then re-installed the app from iTunes.

The ipa only works for you as it has your apple id credentials embedded into the data. Unfortunately no one keeps their ipa once the app updated.

I did a little more digging and iTunes does move the previous version to the Recycle Bin but unless you've emptied it since the app update it will still be there or you can restore from a backup - you do backup your music folder, right?
I just tried it and was able to revert to the previous version

That usually will work for others. I unforunately run a Mac and run Hazel that trims my trash limits to 1GB max.
